This is not like the Swype that comes built in your phone. You get the predictions of swiftkey when your typing or when your using swype. If you don't want to spend money at least try the free trial version for a month. Don't be afraid of the setup procedure. Just part of the process. I have used swiftkey for over a year. It has been the best. I have uses other touch screen devices and I really miss not having swiftkey on them. Anyhow, I just wanted to share this. I don't get commissions but just like to share with folks when I find something nifty.
