A friend has posted a link on Facebook about a movie preview based on the book, "Heaven is for Real."
The preview caught my interest, so I requested a copy of the book from the library. The copy finally this week, and I started reading it here an there. Yesterday I had more time available, so I had sat down to read more. When I was approximately half way through the book, I was deeply struck. My heart felt some of the things that this family experienced. May not be the exact same situations, but it brought up memories. Not bad ones, but ones that are deeply stored in my heart.
Even if this book is possibly fully fiction, it is still a great story. This father recorded what his son had shared with him after the boy had visited heaven. The child had become very ill, requiring surgery. And during this time the child has memories of seeing his parents praying and also visiting heaven.
I loved this book so much that I now own a copy of it. I plan on reading this again soon. If there was a book I could easily recommend to anyone, this book would be it. Certainly easy enough to read through quickly, especially for those who have the busiest schedules.
